Description

Seika SW3 sensor cube is used for multiaxial arrangement of accelerometers and/or inclinometers.

The SW3 can accommodate SEIKA sensors for measurements in up to three directions. The inclinometers N3, N4, NB3 and all accelerometers can be integrated in any combination according to customer’s specifications.

The interface converter connects any sensor with RS485 data output interface to the RS232 port of a computer.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Material: nickel-plated brass
  • Weight excluding sensors: 78 grams
  • Weight including sensors: approximately 145 grams
  • Electrical connection: cable or single wires as required

Founded in 1990, SEIKA develops, manufactures sensors for measurement of acceleration, inclinations, electronic and mechanical accessories for sensors, inclinometers for large range of tilt measurements and a series of robust accelerometers with integrated sensor electronics are SEIKA’s standard products. Next to these standard products, there are level and humidity sensors for special applications as well as electronic components and sensor accessories.

Inclinometers is capacitive and liquid based with integrated sensor electronics. The measurement technique enables a linear relationship between the angle to be measured and the output signal. The determined angle is independent of the local gravitational acceleration, so no matter where the measurement is being taken, whether in Europe, New Zealand, on Mount Everest or on the moon, the inclination will be measured accurately.
